The dye house industry nowadays is considered by the world as a pollution-promoting industry. Many countries’s government is starting to implement environmental restrictions towards air pollutions. Anti-pollution equipments are no longer a choice, but have become a prerequisite. Many dye house owners, when purchasing equipments, are starting to look for anti-pollution equipments or supplements that can minimize the air pollution as much as possible.

During the process of finishing, dryers and stenters normally exhaust excess amount of dust and oily contaminated air. By installing our TY-GDC “Green Elf” above the exhausting area of the stenter or dryer, the oil and dust can be remove from the exhausting air efficiently. Thus fresh air comes out at the end.

Theory of Electrostatic Precipitator

The Electrostatic principle is utilizing the electromagnetic field created by the positive and negative terminal to remove the dust and oily particles out from the contaminated air. The oil and dust particles are then collected into a concentration bucket, making the air coming out from the duct fresh.

7 Steps of TY-GDC Electrostatic :

  1. Entry of exhausted air from the stenter or dryer
  2. Water Cooling Section and Heat Exchanger – The exhausted air will be cool down in this section, making the oil and dust particles easier to capture at the later stage.
  3. Net Filter – Initial filtering of dust and oil particles before entering the electrostatic field.
  4. Electrostatic Tower – The ionization of the dust and oil particles takes place inside the electrostatic tower, forcing them to bind to the opposite charge collector. The dust and oil particles then are collected to the concentration bucket.
  5. Exhaust Duct – A thermo controller is installed to monitor the air temperature coming out from the electrostatic tower for safety purpose.
  6. Exhausting Fan – The fan promote the transfer of air inside the system, consequently the speed of the air being exhaust.
  7. Exit of exhausted air – 95% of dust and oil has been removed from the system.
